The Purple Building is a large house on the lake floor in The Neverhood. It is entered through the neighbouring Radio Tower. The Purple Building has a total of three floors.
Basement[]
The lowermost floor contains a glass cylinder, a cord for toggling the light, a glowing green miniature room at the floor and two staircases—one regular-sized and the other notably small. The lake wall radio can be seen through a barred window, and there are test tubes containing liquids of various colors.
In this room, Klaymen must use the cylinder to solve the Crystal Puzzle to shrink in size. This enables him to navigate the small staircase and pass through the miniature door.
Hall of Kings[]
The room above is the Hall of Kings. Klaymen enters through the small door from the basement. The room is full with purple and white pillars, with statues of the Seven Sons positioned between them. There is a disk on the floor, and to the right, there's another miniature lab—this time in a shade of purple, which is part of the Mixing Puzzle.
Here Klaymen must unshrink himself and then solve the Hall of Kings Puzzle to get out.
Attic[]
The ladder leads Klaymen to the room above the Hall of Kings. Another disk lies on the floor, accompanied by a disk player mounted on the wall. Positioned above the door is a ring that transports Klaymen back to the Basement (the procedure with shrinking and unshrinking must be repeated in order to get back up). The door leads to a small balcony with a Teleporter.
