Armikrog is a spiritual successor to The Neverhood, released on 30 September 2015. In a similar fashion to The Neverhood, Armikrog is a point-and-click adventure game with claymation visuals. Like The Neverhood, Armikrog was designed by Doug TenNapel and the music was composed by Terry Scott Taylor.
The game protagonists are Tommynaut and his colour-blind dog Beak-Beak, who crash land on an unknown planet and end up locked inside a fortress named Armikrog. Tommynaut has to find a way out from Armikrog, while an abandoned baby found in a smashed room indicates there is something serious going on inside the fortress.
The game received mixed reviews, mostly praising the fun art style and catchy music while criticising the short story, repetitiveness of puzzles and the abundance of bugs.
